Website Statistics

Google Analytics

Once you have given your consent, we use Google Analytics to analyse website usage. The data obtained from this is used to optimise our website and advertising measures. This data is transferred to a Google server in the USA. Google complies with the data protection provisions of the ‘EU-US Privacy Shield’ agreement.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service operated and provided by Google Inc (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States). Google processes the website usage data on our behalf and is contractually obliged to take measures to ensure the confidentiality of the processed data.

Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years from your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID with which you can be recognised on future visits to the website.

The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which makes it possible to analyse pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form indefinitely.

Facebook Pixel

After you have given your consent, we use the Facebook pixel from Facebook on our website. We have implemented a code on our website for this purpose. The Facebook pixel is a snippet of JavaScript code that loads a collection of functions with which Facebook can track your user actions if you have come to our website via Facebook ads. For example, if you purchase a product on our website, the Facebook pixel is triggered and saves your actions on our website in one or more cookies. These cookies enable Facebook to match your user data (customer data such as IP address, user ID) with the data of your Facebook account. Facebook then deletes this data again. The data collected is anonymous and cannot be viewed by us and can only be used in the context of adverts. If you are a Facebook user and are logged in, your visit to our website is automatically assigned to your Facebook user account.

We only want to show our services and products to people who are genuinely interested in them. With the help of Facebook pixels, our advertising measures can be better customised to your wishes and interests. This means that Facebook users (provided they have allowed personalised advertising) see suitable advertising. Facebook also uses the data collected for analysis purposes and its own adverts.

Right of Objection

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest, you have the right to object to this processing.

If there are no compelling legitimate grounds for the processing on our part, the processing of your data on the basis of this legal basis will be discontinued.

You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will no longer be processed for the purpose of direct marketing.

The legality of the data processed prior to the objection is not affected by the objection.

Right of Cancellation

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by changing the data protection settings.

In the case of consent to receive electronic advertising, you can withdraw your consent by clicking on the unsubscribe link. In this case, processing will be discontinued unless there is another legal basis.

The legality of the data processed up to the time of cancellation is not affected by the cancellation.

Rights of Data Subjects

You also have the right to information, correction, deletion and restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If the legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your consent or a contract concluded with you, you also have the right to data portability.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. You can find more information about the supervisory authorities in the European Union here.
